Directory Submission and Article Submission – Link Building Strategy----

If you have a website then you are certainly concerned with its rankings in search engines because you want to increase traffic to your website to increase revenues. Fortunately, with article submission services and directory submission you can increase the visibility of your website as well as its ranking in the search engines because you will be gaining one way links and visibility. Consider the following benefits of article submission and directory submission so you, too, can enjoy a high ranking from the popular search engines.

Article Submission

The benefit form article submission is not as much from the information in the article, but from the links embedded in the article that increase your rankings with the search engine. Search engines work on a variety of levels, one of them including the amount of links on the Internet pointing back to your website. As a result, the more links you have the higher you are ranked. So, part of your search engine optimization strategy should be to use article submission services. You simply write or buy an article and have links to your site and different pages in your site embedded in the article. Then, the article is submitted to various article directories and spread across the Internet as well. The more links you have the higher your search rankings and a great way to get a lot of links is to use article submission services. Remember, once your article is submitted with the embedded links to your site it is more than likely to stay on the Internet forever and you will have one way permanent links to your site that are always helping you in the search engine rankings.

Directory Submission

If you are interested in your website truly performing the best in search engine rankings then you will concern yourself with directory submission. There are thousands of different directories out there, some that apply to your website, and others that do not. By focusing on directory submission in the directories that are related to your site you will certainly increase your rankings. Of course, each directory has categories as well so it does take some research and effort to get your website submitted to all the directories in the right categories that really benefit your site. But, once you do you have a permanent listing of your website in the directory that will direct your target audience to your site day in and day out. Remember, however, that just any directory submission is not going to get you the traffic you want. You need to focus on submitting to directories that relate to your website in order to have your website directory submission in the location where your target audience is.

Directory Submission and Article Submission - Permanent Links

When you rely solely on other websites to host your link in order for you to host their, you are risking that other webmasters simply chose to remove your link and with it your Search Engine rankings go down. However, when you use article submission and directory submission in order to build links to your site and make your website more visible to your target audience you are basically receiving permanent links and advertisement for your site. The benefit of this is that with a little effort you can get your articles submitted and your website listed with the directories and then just sit back and enjoy the permanent links and higher search engine rankings you receive.

Directory Submission Has Replaced The Search Engine Submission---

There is no doubt that search engine optimization (SEO) is very important to the overall success that you have with your website. Unfortunately, however, there are many people out there who spend lots of time and money submitting their websites in hopes of improving their search engine rankings.

One of the internet marketing strategies which is known to be very effective is directory submission. In fact, directory submission has replaced the search engine submission process in recent times due to its known effectiveness. Learn more about some of the main benefits that directory submission has to offer you, in order to help you determine whether or not this internet marketing strategy is the right choice for you.

One of the main benefits that directory submission has to offer is the fact that your website will be more likely to be seen. Although anyone can find anything looking through a search engine, unless you have a very high search engine ranking, chances are that your website will not be found. Directories, on the other hand, almost always have some sort of purpose or theme. When people are looking for Saint Bernard-related websites, they may decide to refer to a Saint Bernard directory. If you have submitted your website to a directory, the people who are interested in this subject will be more likely to see it.

Through the use of directory submission techniques, you will also be more likely to get the higher search engine ranking that any internet marketer is interested in. This especially is true if you are submitting your website to a very reputable directory, rather than to a lesser known one. One of the biggest decisions that you will probably need to make when you decide that you want to try out directory submission as an internet marketing strategy is whether you should use paid directories or free directories. It is important to weight the benefits of each option before making your choice. Although free directories are a great option if you are on a low marketing budget, you might not get the results which are looking for. An website directory that you will need to pay for is often a lot more beneficial in increasing the amount of internet traffic that your website sees, as well as your overall search engine ranking. Overall, it is important to realize that your search engine ranking can be increased through the use of directory submission.

You might want to think about using directory submission as internet marketing strategy if you want to ensure that anyone can easily find your website with a specific topic in mind, if you want to increase the internet traffic that your website gets or if you want to increase your search engine ranking. If you have only ever used search engine submission, chances are that directory submission is something that you may want to give a try. Since this internet marketing strategy is known to be very effective, you will be likely to get the results that you are hoping for.

Do It Big. Get Noticed.----

Whatever you do in business, do it big! There’s no other arena in which those words are truer than the internet. It’s a competitive world wide web, and you do have to find your niche. But once you find that niche, do it just a little bit different than everybody else. Do it big. People don’t often think in those terms. So if you are able to put yourself in that mindset, then you’ll be ahead of the pack.

You can struggle all you want trying to get your website to the top of the search engines, but by the time you get there, the rules for getting there will have changed. You can spend countless hours trading links with other websites, but you’ll find that many of those will soon ditch their domain. You may consider any number of online strategies for getting your website noticed, but the bottom line is somebody on the other end always wants to get paid.

This is when the idea of “do it big” comes into play. Let me explain. I recently discovered a website owned by a woman from the UK. Her product was original art. Specifically, cartoon-like pencil sketches. Her intention was to put her work on shirts, stationary, and greeting cards and to sell it through her website. The problem was she couldn’t get her site noticed. She had no visitors.

How many times have you lamented over the lack of visitors to your site? I have, and I do. It doesn’t matter how many visitors a site receives. It never seems to be enough. We are insatiable. But you can struggle with online strategies, or you can do something big offline. Here’s what I suggested to the woman from the UK.

Start a campaign. Call it the “loan a shirt” campaign or something of that nature. The idea would be to take a shirt featuring the artwork, and send it around the world. How? She or somebody else would wear it for a day and then pass it on to another person who would do the same. This would continue for any duration of time. But the goal would be to send the shirt around the world, and each person who wore the shirt for a day could log on to the site if they choose and fill out a quick location form so the shirt may be tracked.

It’s such a simple, low-cost idea, but it’s a creative way to expose a website as the address would be listed right there on the shirt. And people who wore the shirt for a day would get to see and sample the product first hand. It could even be an event for charity, and an effective press release would be the only invitation the media would need to get involved.

But what if somebody decided not to pass the shirt on? What if somebody stole it? What if the shirt got lost? What if “this”, and what if “that”?

Hey, what if it worked? What did it cost? Nothing. It only required a little creative thinking. A person could do anything they wanted with the idea in order to eliminate every negative “what if”.

The point I’m trying to make is we don’t often think of doing something big offline to promote ourselves online. And it doesn’t have to be costly. It doesn’t have to even follow what we believe to be the traditional rules of advertising. Just think big, do it big, and get noticed. After all, isn’t that the goal? Or is the goal just to advertise?

Do not post to FFA's (Free For All Sites) & Link Farms----

With learning about online promotion, there is so much information out there about "what you should be doing" to promote you business. This tutorial will be to inform you about what you SHOULDN'T DO!

What are (FFA's) Free For All Sites & Link Farms?

These types of sites can be recognized by their one purpose. To list 100's, maybe 1000's of "One Line Ads" on all on one page.

What was the initial purpose?

A few years back when this form of promotion was very popular, everyone was posting their one line ads on these types of sites for more traffic to their site and a better "link popularity". It was soon realized that "FFA" sites don't do either.

How can adding a small, one line ad accompanied by 100's of others that isn't related to each other benefit you???

THEY CAN'T!

The only people they benefit are spammers...

Here's why!

Once you submit your one line classified ad, you automatically give the owners of the FFA sites to send you messages. At the same time, there are 1000's of marketers who are gathering your e-mail to do the very same thing.

FFA's are like being in heaven to spammers...

Honestly though, have you ever spent the time to visit a site from these lists?

Do you honestly want to ruin your e-mail just from posting one time??? I guarantee you that your inbox will be full within a matter of weeks.

On another note, Google is actively searching these FFA sites and penalizing them. They offer no use to visitors. Please do your business a favor, never list and FFA sites on your site, you might be subject to being penalized as well from Google.

Once that happens, you'll be spending most of your time trying to recover from the loss.

Best of luck to you!

Does Free Content - Sell?----

The answer is: no one knows. Many self-styled "gurus" and "pundits" - authors of voluminous tomes they sell to the gullible - pretend to know. But their "expertise" is an admixture of guesswork, superstitions, anecdotal "evidence" and hearsay. The sad truth is that no methodical, long term, and systematic research has been attempted in the nascent field of e-publishing and, more broadly, digital content on the Web. So, no one knows to say for sure whether free content sells, when, or how.

There are two schools - apparently equally informed by the dearth of hard data. One is the "viral school". Its vocal proponents claim that the dissemination of free content fuels sales by creating "buzz" (word of mouth marketing driven by influential communicators). The "intellectual property" school roughly says that free content cannibalizes paid content mainly because it conditions potential consumers to expect free information. Free content also often serves as a substitute (imperfect but sufficient) to paid content.

Experience - though patchy - confusingly seems to points both ways. Views and prejudices tend to converge around this consensus: whether free content sells or not depends on a few variables. They are:

The nature of the information. People are generally willing to pay for specific or customized information, tailored to their idiosyncratic needs, provided in a timely manner, and by authorities in the field. The more general and "featureless" the information, the more reluctant people are to dip into their pockets (probably because there are many free substitutes).

The nature of the audience. The more targeted the information, the more it caters to the needs of a unique, or specific group, the more often it has to be updated ("maintained"), the less indiscriminately applicable it is, and especially if it deals with money, health, sex, or relationships - the more valuable it is and the more people are willing to pay for it. The less computer savvy users - unable to find free alternatives - are more willing to pay.

Time dependent parameters. The more the content is linked to "hot" topics, "burning" issues, trends, fads, buzzwords, and "developments" - the more likely it is to sell regardless of the availability of free alternatives.

The "U" curve. People pay for content if the free information available to them is either (a) insufficient or (b) overwhelming. People will buy a book if the author's Web site provides only a few tantalizing excerpts. But they are equally likely to buy the book if its entire full text content is available online and overwhelms them. Packaged and indexed information carries a premium over the same information in bulk. Consumer willingness to pay for content seems to decline if the amount of content provided falls between these two extremes. They feel sated and the need to acquire further information vanishes. Additionally, free content must really be free. People resent having to pay for free content, even if the currency is their personal data.

Frills and bonuses. There seems to be a weak, albeit positive link between willingness to pay for content and "members only" or "buyers only" frills, free add-ons, bonuses, and free maintenance. Free subscriptions, discount vouchers for additional products, volume discounts, add-on, or "piggyback" products - all seem to encourage sales. Qualitative free content is often perceived by consumers to be a BONUS - hence its enhancing effect on sales.

Credibility. The credibility and positive track record of both content creator and vendor are crucial factors. This is where testimonials and reviews come in. But their effect is particularly strong if the potential consumer finds himself in agreement with them. In other words, the motivating effect of a testimonial or a review is amplified when the customer can actually browse the content and form his or her own opinion. Free content encourages a latent dialog between the potential consumer and actual consumers (through their reviews and testimonials).

Money back warranties or guarantees. These are really forms of free content. The consumer is safe in the knowledge that he can always return the already consumed content and get his money back. In other words, it is the consumer who decides whether to transform the content from free to paid by not exercising the money back guarantee.

Relative pricing. Information available on the Web is assumed to be inherently inferior and consumers expect pricing to reflect this "fact". Free content is perceived to be even more shoddy. The coupling of free ("cheap", "gimcrack") content with paid content serves to enhance the RELATIVE VALUE of the paid content (and the price people are willing to pay for it). It is like pairing a medium height person with a midget - the former would look taller by comparison.

Price rigidity. Free content reduces the price elasticity of paid content. Normally, the cheaper the content - the more it sells. But the availability of free content alters this simple function. Paid content cannot be too cheap or it will come to resemble the free alternative ("shoddy", "dubious"). But free content is also a substitute (however partial and imperfect) to paid content. Thus, paid content cannot be priced too high - or people will prefer the free alternative. Free content, in other words, limits both the downside and the upside of the price of paid content.

There are many other factors which determine the interaction of free and paid content. Culture plays an important role as do the law and technology. But as long as the field is not subject to a research agenda the best we can do is observe, collate - and guess.

This article is, of course, free content...:o))

APPENDIX - Types of Free Content

The experiment of online content is in its infancy. Content creators, providers and aggregators fall into seven categories, though hybrids and permutations abound:

I. Entirely Free Content

Unrestricted access to the entire body of content available through a central URL or database.

II. Registration Required

Access to the entire body of content available through a central URL or database conditioned on providing a few personal data and being assigned - or choosing - a user ID and password. But, subject to registration, the content is entirely free, as in (I).

III. Time Limited Free Content - New but not Archived

Unrestricted but time-limited access to some content available through a central URL or database. Access to new material is free and unrestricted. Access to archived material requires a subscription.

IV. Time Limited Free Content - Archived but not New

Unrestricted but time-limited access to some content available through a central URL or database. Access to archived material is free and unrestricted. Access to new material requires a subscription.

V. Time Limited Free Content - Rotation

Unrestricted but time-limited access to some content available through a central URL or database. Various parts of the Web site (desks, chapters, features, articles, stories, sections, etc.) become accessible at different times. Access is rotated between these sections periodically or thematically or arbitrarily.

VI. Teaser Content

Unrestricted - time unlimited or time limited - access to some content (selected articles, headlines only, etc.) available through a central URL or database. Access to the rest of the content requires a subscription.

VII. Subscription

Access to content subject to paid subscription or payment per item.

Efficient Strategy To Have Good Links----

Google is the most powerful search engine; more than 80% of users are finding high quality and relevant information with Google. This is the reason why maintaining high quality information is an essential condition for search engines. High quality sites must have the place they deserve.

There are some techniques allowing a site to have a high ranking; using inbound links is a very efficient way to do it. The more inbound links a site has, the higher its rank. But the inbound links number is a real factor to determine the site’s quality. A low quality site can build an inbound links system to gain a high place in Google’s lists. How do you make the difference between the normal and irregular inbound links?

The link farms must be avoided at any cost. Google has methods to detect them and punish the unnatural links owner. It is really difficult to be rehabilitated after a similar mistake. It is wrong to have links to sites that are not logically connected to the main one. Links from irrelevant sites to the main site can be followed by a warning sign from Google.

A penalty can arrive if Google detects the main site included in a group of interconnected sites. Another problem is to have reciprocal links; it is very probable that Google algorithms will disagree with this technique.

Google has a new paradigm when looking at linking relations. It seems that the quality of incoming and outgoing links is now very important. A smart campaign to have good links is vital for the web site’s ranking. Search engines are making a distinction between links. There are important links, more valuable than the others.

The best choice is to have links from highly ranked web sites. There is one more essential condition: the highly ranked websites must also have topics related to the referenced site.

A popular solution is to build a links page; it is a page containing links to the other sites linking to the referenced site. Some web designers are also providing the HTML code that makes the links construction easy. It is also useful to create a links creation campaign.

This can be done using the non-competitive, high ranked sites. If there is a links page, the referenced site can add its link there too.

After building a links page, you may want to consider joining linking directories. By doing this you have access to thousands upon thousands of websites that may relate to your own as well as having a high PR. To start linking your websites to attain a higher PR, go to:

o http://www.MyLinkMachine.com

Downloading Google toolbar is a solution to see the page’s rank when browsers are used for different purposes. If a page has a topic similar to the referenced site and if it also has a high rank, it is helpful to make a links page using this information.

You may also want to consider submitting articles to article directories. By doing this, you will increase your chances of your website getting noticed by Google and, therefore, getting a higher Page Rank. A great resource to submit your articles is:

o http://www.MyContentBuilder.com

If you are submitting articles to several directories and you're looking for a faster and easier way to do it, you may want to consider an automatic article submitter. To watch a video on how to do this, go to:

Evaluating Your Web Site Performance----

If you expect your site to stimulate some form of action, whether it is visitors filling out a form so a representative can contact them, or purchasing a product, there are steps you can take to insure that your website is functioning at peak efficiency. One of the first indicators of how well your site is working for you is finding out the number of visitors in a given period of time. A good baseline measurement is a month in which you haven't been doing any unusual offline promotional activities.

However, just because hoards of people have passed through your gates does not mean your site is successful. Usually, you want those visitors to actually do something there. It is equally important to monitor the number of visitors to your site who made a purchase. This figure is called the site conversion rate, and it is an essential element of the efficacy of your website.

To find the site conversion rate, take the number of visitors per month and figure out the percentage of them that actually performed the action your site is set up for. For example, if you had 2,000 hits to your site, but only 25 of them purchased your product, your site conversion rate equals 1.25%. To get this figure, take your number of visitors and divide that figure by the number of visitors who made a purchase. Then divide that result by 100 (25/2000 x 100).

If your website is set-up to get visitors to fill out a form, make sure to then figure out what the difference is between your site conversion rate and your sales conversion rate. This is because not everyone who fills out your form will actually become your customer. However, whether your site is set-up to sell a service or product, or to get the visitor to fill out a form, the site conversion rate will measure the success or failure of your website whenever you make changes to the site.

You may find that you need to implement some additional marketing strategies if you find that traffic to your site is extremely low. There are several effective methods to improve the flow of traffic to your website, particularly launching a search engine optimization campaign. This campaign is targeted at increasing your position in search engine results so that consumers can find your pages faster and easier. You can either research the steps you need to take to improve your search engine rankings, or employ a search engine optimization company to do the work for you. In either case, after your have improved your search engine positions, make sure you keep on top of them by regular monitoring and adjusting of your efforts to maintain high positions.

Another factor to examine is how easy it is for a visitor to your website to accomplish the action the site is set-up for. For example, if your goal is for the visitor to fill out a form, is this form easily accessible, or does the visitor have to go through four levels to get to it? If it's too difficult to get to, the customer may just throw in the towel and move on to another site. Make sure your buttons are highly visible, and the path to your form or ordering page quickly accessible.

Finally, have a professional evaluate the copy on your website. The goal is, of course, to get your visitor to make a purchase or fill out your form. Website copy must be specifically geared to your online campaign and not just a cut and paste job from your company brochure. The right copy can make the difference between profit and loss in your online campaign.

Everything You Need to Know About Reciprocal Link Exchange----

Everything You Need to Know About Reciprocal Link Exchange

Reciprocal Link Exchange is still a very popular practice. It should be-- after all there are still many benefits to organizing a link exchange campaign.

First and foremost, a Reciprocal Link Campaign encourages webmasters to explore the various websites in their genre. It helps establish communication among web developers and creates strong online communities. This can be a valuable tool for information sharing and promoting the advancement of a specific topic, like education or technology.

Reciprocal Link Exchange is still a very valuable practice. For one, it is easier to acquire reciprocals than one-way links. This follows the philosophy of, "You scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours." If the site you are promoting contains valuable information, it is likely other webmasters will accept a reciprocal link invitation. This is especially true if you are willing to display a link to their site in a prominent, organized directory.

Remember, credibility is key. Do not link to sites with little value, sites on unrelated topics, or link farms and FFA sites. Google will assign some value to reciprocal links that it deems relevant. Sites containing the same keywords and information will be viewed as connected sites, and will thus count towards your "votes" as a credible site.

How to Organize a Reciprocal Link Campaign

First, seek out the websites you would like to exchange links with. Try to pick sites with a higher Google PR than yours. Then, politely email the webmaster and explain why their readers will benefit from a link to your site. Show them the page that their link will be posted on. Make sure there are not too many links on the page, that they are credible, and be sure to list the links by category.

Having trouble getting a positive response? Try a few of these "tricks of the trade".

When you ask a webmaster to participate in your reciprocal campaign, enclose a pre-made html code so it's an easy cut and paste job to create the link.

If your site distributes a newsletter, start a contest for ad space. Offer to advertise a website in your publication- in addition to a free link- to the sites that offer you a reciprocal link.

You can also try posting testimonials about other sites on your homepage. When you're finished, send a link to your comments to the webmaster. Who would pass up the opportunity to brag about a great review?

Get creative! There are plenty of ways to entice people to join in your campaign. The key is to be polite and to-the-point. Let the webmasters know how THEY are going to benefit from the exchange.

Reciprocal links are less valuable than non-reciprocal in the eyes of Google and other search engines. However, relevant links do count towards your overall Google PR.

More importantly, a reciprocal linking campaign helps you connect with other webmasters in your community. You can exchange visitors and help strengthen the online presence of your website topic. Being an active member of a connected community increases your credibility, and helps you stay in touch with changing times.

Another very important strategy in your linking campaign should be the submission of your website's domain name to highly relevant link directories and the best
way to quickly submit to over 350+ link directories is by using the Link Directory Submitter.

Evolution of Posters-----

At this point you might be wondering why and how is it possible that posters could evolve? How can something so banal be that important so as to even write an evolution story about it? Well, allow me to shed some light and dignity to this often underrated yet often seen piece of art and how it has made its mark in history.

The birth of posters can be traced all the way back to 1798 when the invention of lithography enabled masterpieces to be produced in high volumes to meet the demands of art collectors. As time moved on, the popularity of posters rose to its prime simultaneous to the widespread celebration of stage plays. At that time, posters were widely used to promote plays and other public gatherings or important events. It was very common that avid fans would rip these displays from off the walls for their keepsake and, consequently, from this came the birth of poster collection.

There are a good number of collectors nowadays as they were then who preserve old posters that seem to be nothing but moist and yellow scraps. Scraps which, needless to say, after 20 or 30 years are already considered priceless items that have become holders of documented history. It can now be used to take a glimpse in history's past trends, cultural growth, political influences, pop culture and the maturity of visual communication methods and styles throughout the years.

The evolving cascade of posters dating back from its birth up to this day manifests an incrementing durability in the paper used and a more vivid ink quality. If we look at the evolution of posters, we might as well be looking at the advancement of printing technology. As printers furthered in their capabilities, better and more durable posters were produced. This growth in printing technology has afforded big advertisements to be displayed in more announced places allowing a dramatic increase in event or brand exposure.

These days, poster printing can now be done on canvas, vinyl, adhesive materials and other types of stock allowing more durability and flexibility on how they can be used. There are also a wider variety of ink types to allow indoor as well as outdoor displays that can stand changing weather conditions thus providing a longer poster life.

Going back to the overall view of the evolution of posters, the perspective that most of us fail to appreciate is how posters captures certain sectors in time. Some perhaps insignificant at that moment, but given 20 years after, is a commonly shared poignant memory. For the Coca Cola company for instance, if they try digging through their archives and recollect all of the Coca-Cola posters, it would be pretty reminiscent of the “good ol' days”. Posters may be a public item, but after many years and without us knowing, it has turned into something we hold personal and a reminder of a time in our lives.

Exposing the Hyperlink----

A hyperlink, also called simply "a link", is a reference in a hypertext document to another document or other resource. It is an integral part of the hypertext transfer protocol (http) for World Wide Web, but it is used also in offline documents, such as .pdf (portable document file, Adobe Acrobat native format) and in .XML (extended markup language). Hyperlink can be used to fetch content and save it, view it as a separate document or display as a part of the reference document.

The history of the hyperlink

The history of the hyperlink began in 1965. Theodore Nelson in "the Xanadu Project" transposed the idea from fictional microfilm cross-referencing system into the computer world. In a series of books and articles published from 1964 through 1980 the general concept was changed from linking whole microfilm pages to connecting specific lines of computer text. Primary concept was intended to use on single computer machine, however introduction of DARPA network boosted the idea into creating links between documents and files stored on several networked machines. The idea of connecting parts of a single document via hyperlink arose independently, but was quickly merged to the hyperlink system. Both concepts combined together were fundamental for creating World Wide Web.

How does a hyperlink work?

A hyperlink has two ends, called anchors, and a direction. The link starts at the source anchor and points to the destination anchor. However, the name hyperlink is often used for the source anchor, while the destination anchor is called the hyperlink target. Every browser shows text hyperlinks somewhat exposed (they usually mark it with a different color). Clicking on the hyperlink activates it and displays target document.

Hyperlink - measuring the Net

But hyperlinks are not only the way we surf the Net. Life on the Web without search engines is almost impossible today, because of unbelievable amount of networked information. Most search engines use so-called "page ranking" to measure which site may contain useful information. This mechanism is mostly based on hyperlink popularity. Although whole idea of "page rank" mechanism is more complicated, its general concept is based on a simple rule: the more pages have a hyperlink pointing to the ranked page, the higher rank that page gets. Of course, each hyperlink has different value, based on the popularity of the "source" site (This means simply that if your website is a target for hyperlink placed on the big site like CNet of Microsoft, it has much higher page rank than a site with several hyperlink connections from private sites). This mechanism is based on measuring of hyperlink's quality. Although not perfect, both mechanisms usually works well enough to determine which website has got good content and which hasn't.

For newer sites, Web Marketing depends on "titles" & "links"------

We all start out the same. Some have budgets, some don't. The one true factor out there is that we all want to expose our business. For 99% of us, starting out in the world of web marketing means a few things:

* - A huge learning curve
* - Endless nights working
* - Trial & Error
* - Learning the ropes

Compared to older more established sites out there, a brand new site without a network of well established web sites to back it up will need to depend on good quality links pointing to it. This will commence the search engine ranking strategy.

See most "grand father" sites out there have already gone through the trials and tribulations of getting recognized. Since this is true, they don't always have to depend on the "Title" of the link pointing to their site, nor do they have to depend on the "Title" tag within their site.

Now here's the [kicker]. Let's say Joe has been doing this for 2 years now, 9 times out of 10, if Joes web site is still promoting content about "Web Marketing", he probably doesn't have to add "Web Marketing" to his main title anymore. He can now add it further down within another link on his site.

So the moral is???

If your site is new, you'll need to depend on the "Titles" of many things to get your rankings up for something specific. If you're site is more mature and has been established, you can work on other search terms you've been longing to get for your site.

Just keep plugging away and try to keep your "titles" the same for new sites and mix it up for older sites!

I hope you enjoyed the article!

For Success-Six Essential Questions That Every Businessperson Must Ask-----

Inexperienced business operators go into new markets without having the information they need to be successful.

Because they don't know the answers to the 6 Essential Questions That Every Businessperson Must Ask, they often fail. The difference between success and failure is rarely one wrong decision. Instead, it is a series of wrong decisions made by people who do not have the essential information needed to make the right ones.

You can greatly increase your chances of making the right decisions IF you know the answer to these 6 questions:

(1) What is the demand for your product or service?

When you know how many Internet searches are made every day, week, month and year for your product or service, you can estimate how much demand there is for what you are selling. More demand = increased chances of success.

(2) What is the available supply of your product or service?

When you know how many businesses are already selling you product or service you can accurately estimate whether or not there is room in the market for your offering.

(3) Who are your Competitors?

It's not enough to simply know what the supply (number of competitors) is, it's also essential that you know who your competitors are. For example, can you see the benefit of knowing you're considering entering a market owned by Fortune 500 companies that spend millions of dollars per year on advertising alone? What if you found out that your biggest potential competitor is a non-profit that gives away your product or service for free?

(4)What is the best pricing model for your product or service?

Determining price elasticity is a critical component of any new product or service launch. When you know the highest and lowest available prices for your product or service, you are in a better position to determine a price that will spur sales and generate a fair profit.

(5) How are your competitors promoting?

What competitors say in their advertising and marketing campaigns can provide you with critical insight to their product or service offerings. When you know what words and phrases they are targeting for Pay-Per-Click ads and where they are spending other advertising money, you are in a better position to meet them head-on in the territories they are already defending and to discover new territories that have escaped their attention.

(6) What is the market "buzz" for you product or service?

Successful companies like Amazon, CompUSA, Dell and even Microsoft would never launch a new product or service without conducting a thorough online market analysis and neither should you.

A market analysis report helps you to identify the niche markets that are ripe for your product or service. You can greatly increase your chances of success if you target the right people at the right time.

Free search engine finds 10,000 lathes for users in first month----

Machine tool dealers Macrotec’s new Findamachine site has connected over 10,000 potential buyers with grateful dealers since launching a new service in May. The newly updated site at www.findamachine.com offers users the opportunity to search for new or used lathes currently listed on over 1000 stock lists on the internet. The simple search system allows users to search on any field from a database of over 2500 new and used lathes and click directly through to the seller.

“We opened up the service free to anyone without requiring registration and suddenly the flood gates opened “ said Richard Moss, Chief Developer of Findamachine.com. “It’s the only site that is updated daily automatically, so users know it’s up to date.”

Macrotec Machine Tools Ltd have been developing their Findamachine site for some years now and have added 4500 lathe specifications to an extensive machine tool directory to provide a valuable and user friendly tool for engineers all over the world. The list of lathes for sale is updated daily and includes machine tool dealers and auctioneers sites.

“We’ve cut out the middleman and allow potential buyers to click straight through to seller’s websites. We take no part in the sales process and charge no commission for sales. We are financing the site from advertising revenues,” says Stuart Moss Managing director of Findamachine. “From the feedback we are getting it’s definitely the way forward for the market. Machine tool buyers love Findamachine because it saves them so much time trawling the dealers’ sites on the internet. It was the time it took us searching the web for a lathe with a specific dimension for one of our customers that gave us the idea for the Findamachine project 3 years ago. Because we are engineers ourselves we’ve worked hard to make the search as simple and comprehensive as possible and we are continually building our database of specifications and machine tool dealers.”

Gain Free Publicity With Article Directory Services----

A growing number of online entrepreneurs are finding success with article directory submission services. Website operators, business owners and internet traffic specialists have found article marketing to be a valuable tool in their success.

If you've ever read an article on a website and noticed a brief paragraph, located at the bottom of the article, detailing the author's name and website, then you have already experienced the success of an article directory. An entrepreneur prepares an article, which is centered around their niche and submits it to an article directory. Other webmasters are constantly in search of new material for their website, so they often visit an article directory for information. They may see this article and decide to add it to their site with the condition that the author is given full credit at the bottom of the feature. The credit will likely include the author's name, brief bio and link to their website.

For each individual who reads an article directory, there is added potential for new customers. If they weren't interested in your specialty, they wouldn't be reading the article. So, you've already reached someone who has a direct interest in your product or niche. Once they are finished reading the article, they are likely to visit your website if they found the information to be valuable.

Article directory submission services are free to writers, as well as webmasters. Consider that you are opening an internet jewelry store and need to gain interest, spread the word and find customers for your new business. Well, you are obviously a jewelry expert since that's your chosen business, so write about it. Select a topic, write a brief feature, offer advice and submit the final copy to an article directory. At the bottom, always be sure to include a brief paragraph with your name, some information about your new company and a link to your website. When other webmasters stop by the article directory in search of news for their site, they may be inclined to use your work on their website. If they do, they will also include a link back to your site.

Article directory services provide the potential for a large amount of increased traffic and exposure for a new, or existing, website. There is no better way to gain respect in your profession than by being knowledgeable about what you do. If you are, it will show through in your work and people will be drawn into your site in search of even more information. Article directory services are one of the most powerful new tools available to online entrepreneurs and, best of all - they are free!

Get 900 + oneway links for Free---=-

Dear entrepeneur. Perhaps we partake in the same trouble.

We have a smashing internet site, but little or NO visitants. Now what is a internet site without traffic?
It's similar to an old volume lying full of junk which nobody uses anymore.

What we require is traffic and dozens of it. And would it not be swell if we can get it for FREE?
So what must we do more or less to get this FREE TRAFFIC? You know, theres lots of Article Directories circulated in cyberspace which give Article Authors the chance to post their articles there for free with a free oneway to their websites.

All you have to do is to register with these Content Directories, activate your account, create a penname and then add your articles. And this is precisely what I used to do. But let me tell you (not that you are not mindful of it), IT IS A boring undertaking. I mean, to contribute one Article to ALL these directories manually can demand days or even weeks of difficult work.

I marveled if there was'nt a computer program at hand which could aid me with this project and found rather a few article submitters available. The only trouble was that some Article Distributors was not free and those that were had some limitation (like it will post to only a certain number of article directories). You'll have to buy the full edition to get the most out of them.

Others could not post to the right Categories at the Article Directories ( it will post an article about cats under business for example). Now that is very unproductive.

So commenced my travel to attempt and create a program that could just do everything the others lacked.

• POST TO 950 ARTICLE DIRECTORIES UNIVERSAL(list is developing).

• AUTO-CREATE YOUR ACOUNT AT ALL THESE DIRECTORIES.

• AUTO-CREATE YOUR PENNAME AT THESE DIRECTORIES.

• AUTO-POST YOUR ARTICLES TO ALL DIRECTORIES ON OUR LIST.

• HAVE THE POWER TO AUTO-DELETE YOUR PENNAME AT THESE DIRECTORIES

• HAVE THE POWER TO AUTO-EDIT YOUR PENNAME AT THESE DIRECTORIES

• WILL AUTO-DELETE A SPECIFIC ARTICLE AT ALL THESE DIRECTORIES SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO DO SO.

• HAVE THE POWER TO EDIT YOUR ARTICLE AT THESE DIRECTORIES.

• HAVE THE POWER TO SHOW YOU STATISTICS OF YOUR ARTICLE AT ALL THE DIRECTORIES.

• WHILE CREATING YOUR LOGINS, YOU WILL BE SHOWCASED ONSCREEN WITH THE OUTCOMES.

• WHILE CREATING YOUR PENNAME, YOU WILL BE SHOWCASED ONSCREEN WITH THE OUTCOMES.

• WHILE POSTING YOUR ARTICLE, YOU WILL BE SHOWCASED ONSCREEN WITH THE OUTCOMES.

• WHILE EDITING YOUR ARTICLE, YOU WILL BE SHOWCASED ONSCREEN WITH THE OUTCOMES.

• WHILE EDITING YOUR ARTICLE, YOU WILL BE SHOWCASED ONSCREEN WITH THE OUTCOMES.

And guess what? I achieved it. And now I want to share it with you at absolutely NO COST.

Perhaps you imagine that you can't compose an Article? Let me tell you. YOU ARE incorrect!!!! I had the same opinion at first, but what are you reading now? My article of course. You can write about anything under the sun.
You can even write an article about how you created your first website, or how you struggled to get traffic.

The sky is the boundary. Below you will find a link to my site "Super Article Submitter" where you can Auto-Post your articles in no time ABSOLUTELY FREE OF CHARGE!!!

One more thing. You are free to use this article on your website provided that it stays unchanged and the links in the resourcebox is live, search-engine friendly links.

DO NOT STEAL. IT IS NOT WORTH IT.

Get More Out of Adsense - Tips to Improve Contextual Targeting on your Site-----

As an Adsense publisher, I am often annoyed to find my web pages filled with public service announcements (PSA) and ads unrelated to the content of my site. Fewer relevant ads means fewer click-throughs and ultimately lower Adsense revenues. However advanced Google’s contextual ad serving algorithm may be, it is still a computer program (as opposed to a human being) trying to figure out what a web page is about.

Below are some tips to help you optimize your pages to make them more Adsense-friendly. Note that these tips deal with ad delivery rather than ad formatting or placement. While ad formatting and placement may affect ad click-through rates, they have nothing to do with the delivery of relevant ads to your site. Your site must display relevant ads before they have any chance of being clicked on.

1. Avoid too much content on a page

If Adsense does not understand what is your page is about, it cannot deliver ads targeted to its content. Although a human being can easily tell what a web page is about by taking a glance at it, computer algorithms are no so intelligent. If your page contains too much content, chances are that it also contains too many seemingly unrelated keywords. Adsense becomes confused and displays PSAs or ads unrelated to the topic of your page. Try dividing the page into smaller ones, each focusing on just a few related keywords.

2. Avoid too little content on a page

If your page contains lots of graphics and very little text, Adsense may have a hard time figuring out what it is about. This is especially true when the bulk of your content is derived from graphics and scripts. When possible, use text rather than graphics to display website names, page titles, and headline texts. Make certain to include your keywords in the title of your page and repeat them throughout the page. Avoid hiding your text through sneaky tactics, such as using tiny fonts or making your text the same color as the background. This may be construed by search engines as spam.

3. Repeat keywords that you are targeting

Keyword repetition makes it easier for Adsense to decipher what your page is about. Do this in moderation as excessive repetition may be considered spam by the search engines. Excessive repetition may also make your writing sound awkward to the human reader. Instead of repeating the same keyword more than 5 or 6 times on a page, use synonyms and related keywords. For example, instead of repeating “Adsense optimization” 20 times, you might try alternative phrases like “increase Adsense revenues” or “earn more from Adsense”.

4. Avoid acronyms

I once wrote an article on pay-per-click advertising for one of my sites. When I uploaded the article to my site, I was surprised to find that all of the ads showing on the page were for Apple computer products and had nothing to do with pay-per-click. It later occurred to me that instead of repeating “pay-per-click” over and over in the article, I used the acronym “PPC” numerous times. As it turned out, “PPC” also stands for “PowerPC”, Apple’s line of Power Macintosh computers, which explained why I was getting all the Apple related ads. When I replaced all the “PPCs” with “pay-per-click” and “pay per click”, the problem went away.

5. Choose keywords with commercial value

You may get public service announcements rather than paid ads if your page deals with a subject matter whose keywords no one bids on. A remedy for this is to incorporate keywords with commercial value into your manuscript. For instance, if your page is on some obscure medical condition, you might try sprinkling a few drug names into your document to make it display paid ads rather than PSAs.

Get More Traffic Using Niche Articles-----

What is the key to Internet business success? It's simple:

Targeted Traffic

Clever internet marketers have long used a variety of ways to herd targeted traffic to their web pages, such as: pay-per-click campaigns, email marketing, search engine optimization, and ezine advertising.

However, there is a simple, effective method that many marketers have missed -- submitting brief, 400+ word articles, so that they appear all over the internet.

Linking Readers Back To Your Website

The time and effort you spend on these mini-articles is a shrewd investment. Here are a few of the ways widespread publication of your articles pays off:

Every article you submit contains a link back to your website. Every link helps your website gain link popularity, one of the factors in your search engine ranking.

If your article's content matches the content of the web page you've linked it to, the search engines will regard this as a relevant link. Relevant links to your website are valued even higher by the search engines.

And ultimately, the higher your site is ranked, the more traffic you will get.

People Want Information

It helps to keep in mind that people who use the search engines are looking for information. If they happen upon one of your articles and find it interesting and useful, they will be likely to click on the link to your website to continue their research.

The more places your articles appears, the more people will find and read them, and the more traffic that will be funneled to your website.

What Makes An Effective Article?

How do you create one of these articles? Simple. Your article should be around 400-800 words long and contain just enough information to:

(a) offer the reader some useful facts,
(b) motivate the reader to click on the link to your website for more information, and
(c) attract the attention of an ezine editor who may republish your article.

A good article might contain 1 or 2 tips extracted from an information product you are selling on your website. You could also use paraphrased information from a web page you want the reader to visit. Also effective is a review of a product you would like the reader to purchase. The review would contain a link pointing to your affiliate page through a link tracker, or to a page on your own website where you offer more details.

Get A Ghostwriter

No time or inclination to write your own articles? Pay a ghostwriter to write them for you. Simply visit websites like Elance where you can post a description of the articles you want written, and writers will contact you.

When your article is done, you'll want to submit it to as many places as possible, including:

Article Directories. They will run a quick content check, then publish your article. Once posted to one of these directories, it will likely be republished all over the internet. Many publishers are routinely on the lookout for quality articles. You simply allow them the rights to re-use your article and in exchange they leave intact the link back to your website contained in the bio at the bottom of your article. You just gained another link without lifting a finger.

Ezine Editors. You'll get lots of well-targeted traffic by submitting your articles to popular ezines that are related to your niche website. Ezines are always in need of new, good quality content. Once your article is published in an ezine, you will get lots of publicity in return. Getting your articles in ezines read by hundreds, or even thousands of people is an excellent way to quickly increase traffic to your website.

Your Own Article Directory. Many ezine publishers and webmasters don't realize that article directories even exist. Once they read one of your articles from a directory, they will visit your website, which could prominently display a link to your own article directory. The link should make clear the fact that your content is free for use in any website or ezine. "Free Content For Your Ezine" should appear in a link that is prominent on your directory website.

Keep in mind: this is a huge win-win-win process for all involved.

Authors get free publicity and links back to their website(s)
Publishers get free information for their website(s)
Readers get free quality information for their research and buying needs.

Get the Most Out of Web Directories and Article Directories-----

There are ways around promoting your site. And it isn’t even going to cost you a cent (only a bit of your time). There are what we call web directories and article directories. Web directories, simply, are directories of various categories containing website listings. On the other hand, article directories are directories also containing various categories where you can publish your articles. Why mention the two? You’ll soon find out.

First off, are web directories. Did you know that there hundreds of web directories exist all across the net? What you do is you submit your site to these directories, and there you go – instant links to your site! Did you also know that most of those web directories are free? That’s right, they won’t charge you anything (maybe just some occasional link backs to their site – “reciprocal linking”). What matters is that a site is linking back to your site. If you do this with hundreds of other web directories (thousands, if you have the time and perseverance), you would have that many sites linking back to you. By doing so, your link popularity will increase. Link popularity is the number of links pointing back to your site (the more links, and the higher their PR, the better). It also the basis on how search engines would rank your site. If a search engine sees that you have high link popularity, they would see your site to be important, and rank you accordingly.

Next are article directories. I know what you’re thinking. How would articles help your site get traffic? First reason – by submitting to article directories, you will have the chance to promote your site through the resource box or author’s biography. Like web directories, several hundred article directories exist. And again, they are also free. What you want are directories that let you submit and use their other articles for free. Why use free articles? Second reason – if your site is lacking content and you want people to regularly visit you, use these free articles as your web content (always include the author and source). With your site having more content, more traffic will eventually come to you.

These are two ways of boosting your link popularity, page rank, and of course, traffic. Other than these, you can try getting inbound links through forum participation and link partnership with sites that are related to yours (but that’s another story). I hope you would find this useful, so enlist to web directories and write your articles now.
